-
Do you source your clay locally?
Yes, my clay is sourced from Plainsman Pottery Supply in Medicine Hat, AB. Founded in 1962, Plainsman has an extensive understanding of the local deposits and mining practices, ensuring quality and consistency. Knowing the clay’s history and the community behind it adds a layer of meaning to each piece. It’s a connection that grounds my work and reminds me of the shared heritage of ceramics as a craft and a tradition.

Do you offer returns or exchanges?
A lot of care is put into making each piece, and I hope you love your ceramics as much as I loved creating them! Because every item is handcrafted in small batches, all sales are final.
That said, I want you to be happy with your order. If your piece arrives damaged or defective, please reach out within 30 days of purchase using the contact form on my website. I may request photos to assess the issue, and if approved, I’ll gladly offer a replacement or store credit.
Thank you for supporting handmade!

Are your ceramics dishwasher safe?
Stoneware may be placed in the dishwasher. Load the dishwasher carefully so that pieces do not bump into each other and chip. Use a non-abrasive dishwasher detergent. If cleaning by hand, avoid using abrasives such as steel wool or “gritty” cleansers. Stoneware should be brought to room temperature before cleaning to avoid thermal shock.

Are your ceramics microwave safe?
Stoneware is safe for use in the microwave. Please use caution in handling hot ceramic items.
